Marital status: Married
Children: 4
Occupation: retired
Comment: The past 50 years have gone past so quickly; it seems like only yesterday that graduation was finally coming and I could get on with my life!

I chose to get married and raise children and I don't regret my decision at all.  This July Jack and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.  Our children are doing very well, and we have 10 wonderful grandchildren.  Unfortunately, our oldest son, Mark, passed away in 1994.

We have lived in 4 states and settled here in Tennessee over 4 years ago so that we could be close to our two sons and their families.

Patricia Stueck (Dietscher)

Marital status: Divorced

Occupation: Retired College Program Director
Comment:

To bring everyone up to date, here, briefly, is what has gone on in my life since I left Waukesha High School.  After graduating from Marquette University, I worked as a certified dental assistant and then as a licensed dental hygienist in Alabama.  In 1990, I earned an MA from the University of North Alabama.  Until my retirement in 2008, I served as Program Director and Instructor of Dental Assisting at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL, for thirty years.

Retirement is great!  It allows me to devote more time to my hobby--breeding and showing my championship Doberman Pincher dogs in performance sports.  They are titled in conformation, obedience, rally and agility.

I have two children--Lyn Stueck Certain and Mark Stueck.

Lyn lives in Huntsville, AL, and is a dental hygienist.  She has a BS in math and computer science.  She is married to James Certain.

Mark lives in Charlotte, NC, and is a certified dental laboratory technician.  He is married to Louise Ruge Stueck.  They have three children--Charron, Bryan, and Kevin.

It is located in Shorewood and was named in memory of my late husband, Robert Laurence Hair Studio.  We have been in business for 21 years. I love going to work and enjoy owning my own business. My other love is for my 4 grandchildren.

Children: 2
Occupation: Retired Teacher, Co. Sup, & Farmer
Comment: Fifty years, doesn't seem possible. We still live about 100yds. north of the farm. Things have really  changed since I was first on and last off of the bus. On at 7:00 am. and off at 5:00pm. Then chores, supper, school work,(not) and bed. Football and volleyball were fun. I enjoied high school. I spent 57 years of my life in schools.Presently working on the home farm. Now a hobby farm, selling sweet corn, beef, hay, soybeens, corn and edamames. Come and visit when you're in town . Look for Swan Road. See you at the reunion.

Julianne Swan

Marital status: Single
Occupation: Bookkeeper
Comment: I never married.  I lived on the farm where I grew up until two years ago.  I then bought a small ranch house next to former classmate, David Brisk.  It's a change for me, but the backyard gives me the feeling of country living because I look out on a wooded area.

As some of you remember I am one of those Jehovah's Witnesses.  I still am very active with the congregation in Pewaukee, WI.  Following Bible principles has led to a very satisfying way of life.

I have done some traveling through the years: Europe twice, New Zealand, Australia , Figi and Alaska.  GOD'S creation is beautiful.

I still work:  12 hours a week doing Bookkeeping (Mr Pipenburg would be proud) for Nagel Auto Body, a job I've had for 16 years.  It's only one mile from where I now live, so sometimes when the weather is nice - I walk.

I'm not planning to attend the reunion, but hope those that do will have a good time reminiscing.

Comment:     Bob Thomas -- The Rest of the Story

After high school I went on to study engineering at Madison.  On Ground Hog's day, Feb. 2, 1963, I married Carol (then Buerger), WHS class of '60, and we lived in Madison while I went to graduate school -- and played bridge at the Union.
We moved to Minnesota in the spring of 1965 and have lived in the western suburbs of Minneapolis ever since.  Here we raIsed two sons. Charlie, our older son, is divorced and lives only a few miles away from us with his two daughters:  Scarlet, who just graduated from high school, and Lucy, who is in middle school. (An institution invented long after I finished my schooling -- what won't they think of next?). Ben, our younger,  is married and lives just outside of Madison.
My folks have both died but Carol's mom is still living in Milwaukee. So, with trips to visit her and trips to visit Ben and Chris, we do get down to that area fairly regularly.  Our only visits to Waukesha are day trips when we wander around looking to see what  parts of the Waukesha we remember still exist.
Carol and I are both happily retired. She from office managing and running her own secretarial service, and I from working in the research department of Cargill, a big agribusiness firm. My career included a hodge podge of activities in process development, computerized grain elevator control, meteorolgy, statistics, HR, accounting and  IT for the department.
We still live in a suburban house with our dog (and newest hobby), Fauna, a year-and-a-half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Since retirement, Carol spends her time and energy on flower gardening (during the growing season) and quilting and knitting when the snow flies. My passion is for theater, where I'm active in play and song writing, acting, and directing (and, as our checkbook will attest, far too much attending.)
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the reunion.

Comment: Hi Everyone,
I'm enjoying your bio's and looking forward to the re-union.
About my life: Graduated from Evanston hosp. Sch. of Nursing:1961. Worked in the Operating Room at Evanston Hosp.,U. of Ore. med sch hosp.,Chidren's Mem Hosp(chicago) & VA Lakeside. 1974: moved to Jackson Hole, Wy. Wow what a change. They told me in Chicago that I would be back, but I loved it there. I skied in the winter and rode horses in the summer at working ranches. I was in heaven, of course, I had to work. I was the O. R. supervisor and we worked really hard doing ski injuries all winter and car wrecks, horse wrecks, climbing ,etc. all summer.
After 9 years, I finally couldn't take my job or the winters any more. Luckily, I found another great place to live and work. I live on the central coast of CA. 1/2 way between LA & SF. The area is still very rural and I love it. When i moved here, I bought my 1st horse. This is horse country. I live very close to a State Park and the beach, so I have 50 miles of trails.
That's enough about me, very succinct, but we can talk later. Good thing Miss Conroy isn't reading this. Looking forward to talking to you.

Comment: Hello class of 58!
Well like all the rest of you, I can't believe it has been 50 yrs. since the great fun we had at the now 50 yr. old south campus.  But Connie and I will be celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary in July.
Our lives have not been as exciting as some of you folks, but there have been some great moments.
We were married in 1960,and have two beautiful children.  Tom who is married to Denice (Rupers), and they have four wonderful children.
All of which have been home schooled.  Scott is a sophomore at UW, Stephanie who is senior this year, Spencer will be a freshman, and our youngest Sarah is in the third grade.  Then there is our daughter Pat(Tish) who is married to Mark Rundel, and they have two great children also.
Katie who is our oldest and has just graduated from college, and plans on being married next June.  Luke is our second oldest, and is going to be a junior next yr. at UW also.  Both grandsons  room together at UW,  I think that is kinda neat.
I was a portrait photographer for 40 yrs.  Sold my studio, and with Connie we owned and operated
a Christian Book store in Waukesha for seven yrs.  Then in 2000 we decided to retire to FL. and enjoy the good life.
We both have great part time jobs, I opened and ran two photo processing labs for Kmart here in Sarasota.  That went good for five years, then everything went digital and they decided to close all the labs in FL. but they must have liked me enough to keep me on part time so I do odd jobs around the store.  Everything from wor
king in the pharmacy counting pills,  counting the cash drawers, and making out daily deposits.
Connie found a nice part time job working for Borders Book store, which she just loves.
I found an old friend from Waukesha who lives in Sarasota, and we play golf couple time a week.
I have had some Heart problems, but all in all we are doing great.  And loving life too the fullest.
LORD willing we will see you in Sept.
Sure love reading about all you folks, keep them coming.
Also again thank you Dave for the site, it awesome.
